Listening to someone on a podcast with an annoying tone of voice

I listen to a podcast where the host talks with guests unedited for close to 3 hours each episode.
The guests are often interesting, and the interesting ones can be extremely interesting.
Problem is that two of the extremely interesting ones — one with the initials PZ and another NDT — are interesting enough to want to hang on their every word, but have an arrogant, smug, smartest-person-in-room-who’s-really-not attitude and tone that it’s grating on the nerves.
