I have two MikroTik Audience routers running in a CAPsMAN mesh setup. I recently upgraded our Internet connection to a gigabit cable connection and when plugged directly into the cable modem, I get a pretty consistent 850-980Mbps on speed tests.
Now, as soon as I get to the first Audience device and plugged directly into the secondary port on the Audience device, speeds slow to 150-200Mbps. I get about the same over WiFi, but most speed tests on wifi are around the 90Mbps range.
What gives? I know default configs aren't optimal but this seems far from where it should be. Can anyone offer any configuration tips for my setup that will help?
