Migraine no longer eases off after sleep

Until recent months, my migraines would ease off to some extent following sleep. However, now it's always still there after I wake up and is sometimes even worse. Wondering what could be the reason and if it's the case for anyone else?

I have no advice to offer, but it's the same for me - sleep during a migraine is neutral at best, or more often, makes it worse. If I have a migraine at bedtime I take an abortive before I close my eyes and that usually helps.
