In 2020 I discovered that chocolate had become a major trigger. Within the last few months, I’ve realized that alcohol is also now a trigger.
I can’t help but be upset at my body/ brain. I’m someone who tends to use sweets to relieve stress (I know not the best coping mechanism) and after an especially full or hard day I enjoy a glass of something. For the most part both of those have been taken away and I am having a hard time.
I’m hoping maybe some other folks have had similar experiences and can maybe offer some things that have worked for them in place of these triggers.
Thanks
