Hi, friends.
So, maybe 3-4 months ago now, you may remember that I was prescribed the Amovig injection and I ended up trying to do so in my thigh which caused a jerk reaction of me pulling away and squirting like 3/4 of the dose at my dog.
The last 2 months, I've had my friend administer the shot to me (both times in my arm). Both hurt. But, otherwise, had no side effects at all.
Last night, my friend wasn't available and I got my dose late, so I was determined to do it myself. Yall advised me to do so in my stomach and even though I literally wanted to throw up at the thought of it, I did administer it a few inches above my belly button. Not only was it basically painless, but I barely needed comfort from said dog.
However, almost instantly, I became extremely nauseous. I ate a little bit of fruit and crackers thinking it may because I did so on an empty stomach and laid down. The nausea got worse and I eventually took Zofran which eased the nausea.
So, I am wondering if this is normal? Anyone else experience it?
