I started getting migraines (with aura, never had one without an aura) mid-highschool, but I'd only get them once to two times a month, sometimes I could a month or two and never get one. Now I pretty much get one to two a month. I know some people get them quite a bit more frequently than me, but as we all know. Migraines hurt like hell.
The worst one I ever got happened about a month ago, and I got two back to back. The first one I saw the aura coming on and thought oh great here it comes but the pain was very mild (my pain level varies migraine to migraine, I'm not sure if other people do as well) and it went away very quickly so I was surprised and relieved. However, I quickly got another aura and then the pain came on. No amount of medicine helped and I was on the bathroom floor in the fetal position for 5 hours puking on and off. The pain finally subsided enough to let me fall asleep and sleep away the migraine, which is something I try to do right away in order to not deal with the pain as much. I will never forget that migraine and I hope I never come close to that pain again. Considering I'm only 23 and will probably live with this for the rest of my life I feel like I will experience it again.
What is the worst migraine you've ever had?
