I feel so frustrated with my migraine journey lately. I still don’t understand a majority of my triggers, I wake up with a pounding migraine, I go to bed with a migraine, ibuprofen doesn’t seem to do the job anymore. I’ve tried to give sumatriptan a few chances but the side effects are absolute hell. I think I’d rather let the guy from Saw yank out my teeth one by one, than have to take sumatriptan ever again.

My side effects include: Muscle tightness all over my body, heart racing, depersonalization, burning sensation on the top of my head, nausea, vertigo, and upset stomach. Aaaand the migraine doesn’t even go away 🥲 Going to ask my GP if I can swap meds, but curious about other’s experiences.
