I take Nurtec preventatively, on an every other day basis as I have frequent attacks. I was previously on triptans where I developed horrible MOH. Well about a week ago, I went to pick up Nurtec from the pharmacy, and they use a prescription card to put it through. It's normally over $1000, then my insurance brings it to $676, and the coupon card makes it $0. It's a lifesaver.... Well apparently there's some nationwide coupon scam going around and I haven't been able to get it. I've taken triptans 4 days this week and I've got the worst migraine I've had in a long time. I called into work but I don't want this to affect the whole week. The pharmacist suggested I call my doctor for something else "like a triptan." While that's temporary relief, it comes back so much worse 😭

I've taken Benadryl,been lying in a dark room with an ice pack. I'm in so much pain, does anyone have any other tips to rid of this God awful attack?
