Increase in migraines but I'm already on topomax.. is it just not working?

I've been having more and more migraines lately,some seem to be more ocular now with the weird floaties or blurred vision. I notice they happen around the same time of day and are not as bad if I literally flood myself with water but sometimes I feel like I'm having a stroke or something.. have I outgrown the topomax? Is it something else like people's diffusers at work?
