My son (11) got a migraine of Sunday and then still had it Monday. We have rescue medication twice along with pain reliever. We called neurologist as he is autistic and said it was his worst migraine ever. His neurologist is in Boston and we live two hours away and they advised us to go to local ER. We went Monday night and they gave him the migraine cocktail. Tuesday he stayed home from school and Wednesday finally went to school and ended up needing rescue medication which didn’t work and neurologist sent us to Boston for a migraine infusion and then another one Thursday with no relief still. We met with neurologist and they are admitting him to do a Dhe infusion. Has anyone had this? How did it work? How did you feel through it?
