Vampire mode

Once my dad complained about how dark we were keeping the house in the middle of the day, not realizing both my mom and me were having episodes.
“The neighbors will think we’re vampires!”
Firstly, vampires are cool as hell, so I see no problem there. Second, couldn’t care less what the neighbors think.
When we told him we had headaches, he backed off.
Me and my mom started calling it vampire mode when we’re having an episode and are light sensitive lol (ex: “I’m going vampire today”)
