Was walking through my hardware store when I saw a new type of fertilizer on the self. I stopped and read the product description and it looks like "Miracle-Gro Organics" is a usable product.
It has all the primary and secondary nutrients that is required and is "derived" from bone meals, feather meals, mineral rocks similar to other organic amendments. The nitrogen component still looks synthetic, but for the most part this is very close to what you would use to make a super soil.
They also made the timing for this slower release feed to break down in 4 weeks vs the fully synthetic 3 month fertilizer which makes this actually usable in cannabis cultivation, now you can switch to bloom nutrients on time. The 3 month slow release was the main reason why MG was unusable for a long time.
They are trying to compete with these other smaller organic amendment suppliers like Gia Green and Down to Earth. Its going to be hard to beat this value and I am going to run this on my next grow. I have some seedlings getting ready for transplant next week. Its just so much cheaper and the nutrient ratios are balance correctly.
I know big companies = bad and this will probably draw hatred, but just read the label for your self. The organics fad seems to be marking up the price of a lot of these amendments.
