Proper fading vs nutrient issues

I see a lot of people talk about letting their plants ā€œfadeā€ but yet their idea of fading = their plants are this amalgamation of yellow / brown super crispy dry leavesā€¦

In my experience thatā€™s not fading. Thatā€™s just some nutrient uptake issue or other issue causing deficiencies. In my opinion proper fading leaves your leaves yellow but not crispy or brown and itā€™s a nice gradual fade to yellow.

Your plants shouldnā€™t be super brown amongst the yellow at the end of your grows IMO.

Iā€™d like to hear thoughts on this subject.
