New setup planning.
Post Body

Its been about 3 years since I've been in the game, but I'll be moving into a new house soon, and I plan on restarting my grow.

I live in an illegal state but would possibly be into building a greenhouse if there are effective and private panels. It very hot and humid in the summer, but my profession allows me access to cheap or free fans, tstats, heaters and filter boxes. I would probably ac it during the summer.

I already have 2-600w hps lights and associated fans. So just building an insulated shed for an indoor grow is definitely on the table. This is where my experience is at.

As far as soil and nutrients go I'll be completely organic once my outdoor garden and composting chickens get going. My first batch or two will probably be light hydroponic nutrients fed in feed store soil.

I don't want to have to buy it anymore.

My question for the group is as follows:

Are there any panels appropriate for an illegal state yet effective in its required purpose?

Would weed grown under a gulf coast sun out-perform an indoor grow?

Are there any specific considerations I would need to take into account when doing a greenhouse grow?

How is the LED market now? Would a $1000 to $1500 replace 2 600w hps lights with equal performance? I would love to move that direction should I stay indoors.

Any unique, intersting, or effective composting methods?

Last but not least, has anyone tried to grow a giant pumpkin?
