Weird question but i never see how everyones electric is set up. Im starting a small grow and i think im gonna do 3 plugs in one outlet 3 in the other. But i ask how does everyone set up there electric?

All off one outlet or do u split em up? Do u tape the wires to the side of the tent? Is the timer hooked up to ur outlet or extension cord? Do u keep the wires and surge protectors elevated? What general safety precautions do u take? How many plugs/wires does ur grow have? Any info is helpful. I just want my grow to be as safe as possible because i have two kids. Also any general safety tips or things to look out for.
