Quick Lighting Question

Say if I turn the lights off from 8:00am-2pm, will it negatively impact if i'm ever 20 mins late turning them off in the morning? should i run them till 2:20 or is that not really a big deal. Idk if I should be accurate everyday or its okay to to be a little off timer on some days?
