Healing after touch up question

Tomorrow will be a week since my touch up. Similarly to my first time, the scabs are almost completely off (scabs fell off after 1st session around day 5).
I’m wondering if it’s still somewhat of the same process of waiting for the color to come back? I know after my initial appointment, when the scabs came off, my brows looked lighter at first and then darkened over time. Is that generally the case with touch ups?
