About Me: I have
been on this Earth for 51 years, but I am not 51yrs OLD.. I am young
at heart, playful, with broad humor and an open mind.
My interests are
eclectic:
My humor is quirky,
dad-joke and pun-centric. I can be a bit dark, I can be a bit weird
but it’s always with respect and I enjoy the reactions I get; the
laugh, the groan or the eye roll.
I love to travel. I
love road trips but I hate freeways.. the back roads are the best…
if my destination is three hours away, I’ll gladly take eight hours
to get there. The things you find along the way is what makes it an
adventure. Taking the dogs on a back road drive is something I also
enjoy. I have gone camping twice and enjoy it but I do not have the
supplies. I love the mountains and rolling hills.
I love the water, to
swim or play in the waves, and to kayak. I have never fished but if
you do, I will watch and learn. I want to go crabbing in the
Chesapeake bay and boil my own seafood. I love sushi, but a good
steak is always nice, as well. Are you a health nut? I will take
advantage of that to get into better shape for you and Me.
I enjoy color and
design. Architecture, the way houses are designed (want to build my
dream home with a lot of various tastes). I enjoy learning the
history and etymology of words, as well as the source behind the
reason things exist. The history of locations, as well.
I like Broadway
shows. I like NASCAR, but prefer to go to short track for live races.
I like football on a Sunday afternoon. I watch WWE.
I enjoy anime
(Miyazaki films mostly) but a few 80s & 90s shows as well. I used
to attend anime conventions, and would like to again with someone. I
like Jpop, Kpop, and foreign music of many kinds. Do you know Hall Om
Mig?
I have an extensive
video collection (Action, comedy, horror, marvel, Disney) I play
Guild Wars 2, and I own a PS3, PS4, Xbox and Switch.. but they get
dusty. I love board and card games. I play Pokemon Go.
I sleep on my side,
and I am told I am a soft snorer.
I love dogs and have
three (2 Golden Doodles and a Yorkie). I have one cat, almost 22yo.
I can be a bit OCD
and I like an organized and clean home, but I can get a bit lazy from
time to time.
I do not smoke or do
drugs. I drink.
I am an Atheist, and
won’t be convinced otherwise. I do, however, love the idea of
ghosts and spirits and get goosebumps in spooky places.
My kindred spirit
will find the above recognizable to them, but hopefully they will
have their own loves and desires to bring to the table.
I do not care about
age, I do not care about body type and in the case of friends, I do
not care about gender. I do not judge how you identify yourself, but
give understanding that as I am older, I do not always understand
fully the labels in today’s society and patience is something we
will both need.
I try to not offend,
nor am I easily offended.
I have a firm,
rooted belief that everyone should be able to be whom they are, live
their life their way and not be subjugated to the wills of others.
On the intimate
side, ask Me.
This leads to
sharing that I identify myself as moderate liberal and sadly over the
past few years, voting choices have become as much as a deal breaker
as anything else in a new relationship.
Also, I believe in
being open and direct, to not play mind games or expect the other to
figure out what we mean. Flirting and teasing is wonderful, but if
we want a new step to be taken, we should be comfortable and free to
express that desire.
I have a big heart,
I will sniff at a sad commercial, I will pick up a stray dog and see
to it that it is safe, I will open the door for you, I will listen to
you cry if you need a shoulder mine is there. I will sometimes blab,
I will sometimes sigh in frustration. I will burp. But to those I
call friend or lover, I am loyal, honest, sincere and dedicated.
I am human and I
want my kindred spirit to be human. Mistakes and misunderstandings
should be worked through, not a blockade.
I am okay with LDR
as flirty friends. I am okay if you have many friends and I am but
one who is casually messaged. However, please.. don’t ghost me.
Just say “not feeling it” and that’ll be that.
I know that physical
attraction is necessary in a romantic relationship, So go ahead and
ask for a pic if you send yours, too.
Finally, the hardest
part of finding someone who is open to more is that I have HSV-1&2.
On meds, and healthy but I want only those OK with this to reply, so
I don’t have to go through the pain of revealing it later, only to
face rejection. Happens too often, already.
PS: I know that
sometimes these ads get hit by scammers… I am not naive and I know
most of the tricks and pick up on them very quickly, so don’t waste
your time.
