In years past I've had good experiences meeting other redditors, so here I am giving it another shot.
Hi! I'm just some guy who works a full time government job, and I've been wanting some company for these cozy and lonely evenings and weekends. I've also been making a point to travel more over the last few years since the world has been opening back up, since I usually am at my happiest while exploring new places. It'd be amazing to find someone to be my travel buddy. My most recent destination has been Ireland, and I'm getting ready to visit The Netherlands for the first time this summer.
Outside of travel, I'd describe myself as a bit of an introvert and homebody, but of course I have a sense for adventure under the right circumstances as well. I'd like to find someone to enjoy the fun and the exciting, but also someone who will be around for the day-to-day stuff and the mundane: someone to chat with about our workdays in the evening, someone for late night and early morning cuddles, etc. On a typical weekday evening I'll either be cooking or gaming (or both), spending time with my pets, or going for a swim at the pool. I'm at a relatively stable point in life with my home and career, and I'm looking for someone who'd like to be a part of that life. I do have a few potential lifestyle deal breakers though: I don't have/want kids and I'd like to move countries at some point in the future to continue on with this adventure. Michigan has been home for my entire life, but I believe there's more out there waiting to be explored - I just haven't figured out the logistics yet. I'm also on the autism spectrum so you can expect some of those social quirks if we chat/meet up.
Physically, I'm 6'3" tall, with red hair and a beard. I think I have "guy next door" energy and wouldn't mind a "girl next door" to compliment that. If any of this has caught your attention or sounds appealing, let's chat and maybe trade pictures to see if there's something worth exploring here :)
