Direct Communication: Of course! The more the better! There’s nothing worse than a partner that chooses to shut down and pull away when you’re trying to get through to them. I value a partner’s voice as much as my own, because both need to be heard to get the validation and compromises we deserve.

Honesty: Who isn’t? I shoot straight and give you the truth 100% of the time, even if it occasionally runs the risk of hurting your feelings. It’s important for people to not retreat, gaslight or outright lie just because it’s easier (like saying you don’t have $100 for a Christmas tree together, but could somehow afford $400 headphones). Sorry. Got a little biographical there… 😅

Patience and Support: Without a doubt. Relationships aren’t all pedals and roses, and being emotionally vulnerable and mature is essential to getting this right. You want a partner that puts in the work on resolving conflicts and bettering themselves or bad habits, not one that only gives you cheap talk. Having a partner that holds you up to both your strength and weaknesses is the greatest support system a person can have. (I understand that this can be a big ask for some people, but I think it’s important.)

So, what about ME, you may be asking…

Well, I’m a pretty introverted guy that likes going on relaxing nature walks, watching sunsets at the beach, and listening to classic rock. I’m a big advocator of mental health and self awareness, so being with someone with similar values is a huge plus for me. 🥰

What am I looking for? Well here it is. Hopefully it isn’t too tall of an order.

Is 24-29 years old,
Locally on this side of the state,
Preferably shorter than 5’9”,
Works full time, and lives completely independently.
