Question, since a stray in our area is due to give birth soon: if we put a box with blankets somewhere cosy in our garden for her and her kittens, where are the kittens supposed to pee/poop? Even if the mom cleans them the entire surface remains extremely unhygienic. What do cats do about this in the ‘nature’? Do they have a spot they take their kittens to for toilet time and another spot for nursing and sleeping?
