Blasphemous... Did they rerecord the voice acting?

Revisiting Blasphemous after a few years and the voice acting doesn't have as much character as I remember. Did they rerecord it? Why???

The English version of the first one had two recasts: Crisanta because people hated her original performance and Escribar for DLC3's additions since his VA died.
Most characters have better performances on the Spanish version, though, and the voice acting was already strong.
