Hey guys - getting back around to finishing the DLC for last light and I'm having a ton of trouble with the first mission. I played through the entire campaign on ranger hardcore without a ton of trouble, but this mission is killing me right at the start.

I have to take out the snipers first since they'll kill me while I'm trying to take out the shields, but it seems like they spawn infinitely and semi-randomly (set spawn points but no set spawn timer), so I can't kill them all. Even if they do stop spawning at a certain point, I just keep getting hit with random rockets after a while. I've also tried using explosives to get rid of some of the shields so I can get to a new checkpoint - no dice.

What's the trick here? Any tips or suggestions?
