Most of the time it’s not low at all. I’m at 165bpm while walking to the bus station right now, most of the time I’m sitting at a calm 100-120bpm.
Sometimes, though, about once a day, it’ll get low as hell. I used to be addicted to heroin and my heart rate never really got below 60bpm, but yesterday for example, I hit 45bpm more than once. I’ve been awake for two days, it’s not that my baseline is naturally mad low and this is only happening when the gear wears off and I haven’t made the connection yet; I was clean for about a month in Nov/Dec 2024 and my RHR then sat around the 80-90s—even when I was on heroin, it never got as low as the 40s.
I don’t notice, or feel any different when it’s happening. I only know it because I have been obsessively compulsively checking my heart rate consistently since Feb 2023. I know that these watches’ margin of error is not this high or extreme, everything lines up, does this happen to anybody else? Why does this happen? It’s not good to fluctuate between 50 and 150bpm within 30 minutes, it only happens since I started doing meth.
