Switched from pipes to a bong and now can’t get high

I recently switched from smoking using a pipe now to a bong and I can’t get high anymore. All it does is make my heart race extremely fast. However, I also started a new batch of T at the same time. My last pipe broke so I have to wait a few days until a new one comes in the mail.
Has this happened to anyone else?
