Got a new pipe today, not sure if it’s that or the shit I got from my dealer??

Got a new pipe today after I re-upped and my first two bowls of it have tasted like ass, like worse than “normal” so to say. I just loaded the bowl and started spinning when I got it, wasn’t sure if I was supposed to do anything to it first or not but what could this be from anyone know?
