Like the title. The first few years can be so overwhelming and pretty much fighting to survive. But years down the road, if you maintain awareness and are able to observe and separate. It just becomes like a new hobby or just aspect of your life. Like a new job or taking on a new challenge. Don’t get me wrong, it still sucks ass. But you will eventually be able to function and live with it. Don’t dwell on how life was before, because there’s no going back. And don’t compare your reality to others who have been blessed with relatively healthy lives.
Anyway, just sharing this for those in the middle of it, in the beginning. Anyone else who’s worked through it, feel free to share.
