I've got a suggestion for you if your pipe is nasty and if your stuff isn't very good.

If someone scorches your shit or the pipe is just nasty, take a drag off a cigarette but don't inhale and blow it through the pipe. It'll get rid of the nasty ass taste.
If you're crystal isn't very good, take an alkaseltzer before you partake and you'll get 10x higher. One of the ingredients in Alkaseltzer is anhydrous and if you know anything about crystal, you'll know anhydrous is an important aspect of good crystal.
