What am i doing wrong here? i can’t get it right

So it seems that no matter how many times I heat this shit up and get it sliding, it always ends up kinda clumped up into one or two little puddles, but I do see some of the thin crackback lines on some other parts. Am I putting too much in at one time to try to do a crackback? i’m trying to get a nice even layer around the whole pizzo, but when i apply heat it fucks up the other lines that i just tried so hard to make. Any pointers??
