M, 32. I am sort of a newbie in the drug scene and had never really taken drugs before. But about 7 months ago, I tried and got hooked on Crystal Meth (clear/cloudy ice shards.)

I have now 'quit' whilst I get my life back on track, but I plan to create a whole separate post in the future for that and tell everyone about my experience...

Anyway, when I was speaking to other layman (non-users) in real life about Meth, many thought that Amphetamines (white powder or rocks) was the same as Crystal Meth.

Looking at certain places where they categorise drugs, Crystal Meth usually has it's own section.

I have no intention to try Amphetamine (Speed I believe is the street name?), but I'm curious as to what it is like versus Crystal Meth.

Is it just a weaker version of Crystal? What are its main effects and duration? What about the side effects and come down?

I have also learned that a lot of ADHD medications are 'forms' of Meth like Adderall apparently. Are these closer to Ice or Speed?

(NOTE: Again a noob really to anything not Ice, so please correct me if I'm wrong on anything.)
