Anybody know what this is?

This was the first bowl we packed and my girl melted it, then wanted to see the crack back and it took foreverrr to cool down and seemed like it was almost a thick liquid while melted. Then when it finally did cool, it had swirls or spirals at the bottom of the bowl? Could this be from getting cut and if so with what? The stuff itself looks completely normal and breaks down normal for rails but idk. Any ideas or helpful advice?
