I get everyone reacts differently to ice but after today I'm truly stumped and mentally ready to be a hermit smoking ice up on a mountain top or some shit.

A content creator I used to follow, as of this afternoon I no longer do, and purchase content and chat with etc for about 5ish years hits me up offering a vid chat deal to which I shrug my shoulders and pay her for it. She sends me vid link via email to Tevi (I swear this app is beyond fucked and buggy, always got some dumbass issue). After clicking the link thus comes the problems.

Either it takes me to a page claiming there's no content available OR it opens the app and claims the owner of said room isn't allowing the application I'm using (their app, Tevi) and because it's not allowed I have to go and get the proper app. (Tevi apparently gives users the ability to not anyone into a vid chat room using Tevi and so to get into the room you gotta get the proper Tevi application).

So there's that, tack on the added time it takes her to create a live chat room (10 mins. Remember this part.)

So back and forth she got me trying from the only 2 angles she knows of: either using only the app or the web app (webpage). Neither works and so she seeks a different app while I take a pipe hit and look at making my own chat room.

I get a private live vid chat room up and running in 40 secs. I shoot her the link and..... nothing. It's all crickets for a bit so I look through settings for various features and what do I find on the first tab, 3rd from the damn bottom? Restrict App Usage already turned on and it's got 2 of 3 boxes checked: Android, PC, IOS.

So I figure OK if it's defaulted to ON for all live streamers MAYEB it's on for her. Sent her a quick msg and told her what I found. She says OK then gives link to different streaming app lol. She refuses to clock the link to the private vid chat room I've already got open AND pretty sure she doesn't understand what the restrict app usage Option does does either.

Second app has 1 glaring big ass issue also... it's not letting me into her room claiming I have to show up at the lobby either before the scheduled time or right at the time... showed her a screenshot of it and her reply is... well I don't see that on my screen and it's letting me in... OFC it's letting u in genius, you're the creator of the frigging room!!!!!

And ofc I attempt to make my own private room on the same app. Again what took her like 15ish odd minutes of setting up a private room I knock out in seconds WITH a noticeable difference in the lobby layout. Where hers had a time/date stamp on it showing a scheduled time (yup yup) mine did not have that. Why? U had a choice to make quick chat room, schedule a time and date for one or make one called ur private space I see what she most likely chose without realizing it.

And here's where things begin to come to a close: she gets frustrated because not only did I send her a screen recording of me attempting to get into the first two chat rooms that wouldn't let me enter, error screens and all, I also sent her a screenshot of her lobby with the scheduled time and my lobby with no scheduled time and yet it's private.

She then accuses me of I don't even knew what, wasting her time I guess coz she claims she's frustrated and finds it funny that going her route there's complications but going my way there's no problems. This us where I begin to spot the usual dope changing someone's mind.

Not once did she ever click on any of my links, even though I had asked her to try it so we can see if she experiences the same issue (for those that don't remember HS science this is called the scientific method.

And this is when things get very OK she smoked TOO damn much and u have lost ur mind. Her verbage changes to incomplete sentences, jumping topics and juvenile taunts. Eventually I was accused of lying about not being able to be let in to her chat rooms, mind she had already seen my screen recording of me attempting this feat. And claiming and not to have seen the error messages that popped up on said video, I took a screen of both messages WITH their time stamps of their place within the recorded video and sent that to her as well. And the cherry on top: I apparently did all this time wasting and nonsense because... I'm not making enough money at home...? Wtf? Huh? Shit made 0 sense so obviously (and I already knew I wasn't getting it back but I call this the integrity test) I requested my $25 back and ofc she chose to keep it ($25 bucks is w/e I was gonna tip her during the vid chat had it worked).

But I guess the moral is: check ur settings. Read and smoke responsibly.
