i've been reading a little about ordering through online vendors and was wondering - how do the packages go through the post office without them seeing what's in it? like, don't they x-ray packages? i probably sound stupid as hell 😅 but i am genuinely curious how that happens.

online ordering always sounded extremely stupid and risky to me but, and correct me if i'm wrong, from what i understand it's actually one of the safest ways to not only procure the goods but to also be sure you're getting good product?

edit - y'all i'm not asking for advice or instructions, just genuinely curious about the post office and how people get away with mailing product lol
