Seems Like a Waisted Hit if You Ask Me...

My gril has been rolling the bubble for about 5 years longer than I have and has told me that I am to never inhale the first hit after loading the bubble with fresh shards. This was all she said and never gave me a why. I know that there's probably a good reason behind this so I do as she says but I am still curious as to the reason why.
