How to clean chemical film layer on pipe?

Hey guys, I just bought this pipe and realized once I started smoking it that the red film on the bubble head and part of the stem was burning off so I managed to clean that and part of the stem but Its wasting a lottt of fluid. I tried scrubbing it with nail polish remover and that didn't work. Any other tips on how to get this shit off without wasting all my butane?
