Missed shots forming open sores anyone else?

Post Body

Hello, before I explain the situation I just wanna say that I'm not looking to hear that I shouldn't inject, I'm here to see if anyone has similar experiences.

Most of the time I shoot just fine but a couple nights I got antsy finding veins and missed some decent shots.

Almost all the shots that were missed formed abscesses which is typical, however within hours the skin above the injection site necrotized.

After weeks of healing and debriding the wounds, aswell as infection in the wounds (go figure) they're mostly healed.

They look a lot like xylazine sores, and one of the big missed shots (I think the area was numbed from coke so I didn't realize) formed an open wound that is at least a half inch deep.

I've already been back and forth to doctor, going back today. Just curious if anyone else has had this experience from missed shots? Most of the time abscesses don't cause full blow necrosis and festering wounds. Most of the time the worst that'll happen is a pus/fluid filled almost like pimple, that quickly heals, or an abscess under the skin that fades under time.

Could it be a bad cut in the batch? Or perhaps I was dehydrated and there was some subsurface bleeding that lead to major clotting?

Idk any similar experiences or advice would great. I'm just more careful now so I don't miss and if I do it's never more then a couple drops.

In the elbow especially there's a decent bit of like inflamation? The skin is thick and feels kinda spongey but almost like moist? Completely dry tho.
