EQ Help for Tech death/slam tone

Post Body

Hi all. I am looking for some suggestions to improve my tone. Here's the rundown:

I'm running a Jackson RRX24 through both a Mesa Dual Rectifier Tremoverb 2x12 combo and a 6505 Orange 4x12 using an ABY pedal. The Mesa is the "clean" channel and the 6505 is used as a heavy/low boost. Since my band is a three piece I am trying to compensate and make it sound like there's two guitars (sort of).

My board consists of a Boss Tuner > Amptweaker Tight Drive > Boss CE20 > active ABY.

The main tones I would like to emulate are that of tech/slam crossover bands like Defeated Sanity and Wormed.

I know this is a bit convoluted and I'm probably going about it in the most ass backwards way possible, but I do end up getting a lot of compliments on my tone. I just want to tighten it up and make it sound as brutal as possible. Kinda like the insane channel on a Line 6.

At this time I'm not able to get any new gear, just want to make the most out of what I have and have all the knobs in the most strategic positions.

Playing a show tonight so I can provide direct feedback (zing) afterwards.

Any help is very much appreciated!
