Picked up this game a couple weeks ago and am having a blast but I have a few questions about the game and such:
How do you balance lethal and non-lethal combat? I personally have been pretty lenient on saving soldier, Tranq Pistol Rocket Arm Fulton has been my entire gameplay summary so far except for the few times I got a combat alert and everything went to hell. For all the cool lethal weapons available for development I find it hard to go ham on an outpost or guard post when I could instead scan the area, find the good soldiers to fulton and interrogate the rest for Heroism and resource locations.
How exactly does staff organization work? I've done the whole reassign-all-staff-to-their-suited-team thing but it seems like a lot of the useful staff with skills pertaining to that team are left out in the waiting room, e.g. An A staff with development skills like "Gunsmith - Machine Guns" is left out in favor of another A with no specific skills whatsoever. I could just go back and reassign them how I see fit but oftentimes it'll downgrade my teams for moving around people so I tend to just leave it and wonder what's up.
How much GMP would it cost to develop every piece of equipment in the single player game (haven't gotten to FOBs yet and I heard they have a lot of stuff)?
The Riot SMG, is it preferable to the Tranq Pistol? Does it knock out enemies as long or longer than tranq? What is it's purpose?
