*Quiet being tortured by Ocelot

*Huey being tortured by Ocelot (supervised by Miller/Campbell?)

*Paz having a package (bomb?) removed from her stomach while Chico is freaking out and holding her down. (Pretty sick joke to put a peace symbol on the bomb inside Paz)

*"Package" removal seems to happen in Mother Base. If it's a bomb, it may have wrecked enough shit to allow XOF to attack. If it's an inordinately large tracking beacon, it let them know where Mother Base was.

*Those weird digital line "lens flares" from the first trailer are back

*Big Boss piloting an early mini Metal Gear Mk I

TIMELINE

In terms of timeline, here's what we can understand: It's now the late 70's or early 80's. The man that Punished Snake disarmed is wearing a striped, blue wifebeater. That specific design is a very common design in the Russian Army. It's called a Telnyashka.

Next, the Afghan war for the Soviets lasted from 1979 to 1989. Seeing that Peace Walker took place in 1974, we can assume that this is at the twilight years of the Soviet War.

Now, Metal Gear takes place in 1995. So, we can fully assume that this takes place between 1984 up until the events in Metal Gear.

We can now assume that:

A) Raiden is currently a child soldier

B) Solid Snake is under training.

C) FOXHOUND is currently becoming a reality.

D) Chico is now in his 20's.

Eli being Liquid is still up in the air, as Liquid Snake was SAS and spent a lot of time under a British Command. Last time I checked, the only thing the UK was interested in at the time was the Falklands, and Liquid's hair went beach-blonde due to his time in Africa. Eli's already blonde.

"Big Boss goes to rescue Chico, when he gets to him, he finds out that Chico spilled the beans on Mother Base to save Paz, which leads to the choking scene. The bring Chico and Paz back, though they don't trust her after the events at the end of PW. They subsequently find out that something has been surgically implanted in her stomach, so they pull it out and see it is a bomb, tracking device. XOF comes shortly after and fucks shit up."

ON CHARACTERS

Miller: Kazuhira means Peace. No more Peace, Just revenge. He probably will stop using Kaz as his name now and go with Master Miller, as he's given up on peace. After the attack on Mother Base, Miller (now part of the newly formed Diamond Dogs as per his beret) starts torturing everyone at the new Mother Base to see who blew the candle.
