Found this on the abandoned rail road bed next to my woods as I was making a path into the woods. I just bought the house and property this last fall. Just now nice enough here in central Indiana to go out treasure(wife calls it junk) hunting. Any ideas the years/time period? Hope I can kinda straighten it out a bit and display it in barn. Any suggestions on straightening it? Its pretty thick. Maybe 3/16 or so. It looks drilled. Not pressed or stamped. Any help is greatly appreciated. Happy hunting !!

Ps...If anyone is in the NW Indiana area and knows a group to join for dirt heads and junk diggers like me, let me know. Looking for a few to go diggin and siftin with.
