Once again the mods can't follow their own rules and when I point it out they get pissy.

Post Body

This post is a fine meme I have no problem with an image and a title but since it was submitted by a mod it was allowed to stay even though other similar memes have been removed because they weren't submitted by mods. inb4 you ask for proof I'll give to you.

  1. This one removed by SaE which is just an image and a title.
  2. This one also removed by SaE which had little effort put into it but more than Britmods and I'd argue is somewhat more on topic than the BoJo one.
  3. This one removed by you know who which is most definitely on topic as immigration is a core tenet of neoliberalism but still removed
  4. This one which has as much to do with neoliberalism as much as the BoJo one so not much at all. Removed by my favorite mod
  5. This one too.
  6. And of course SaE can make memes but no one else can.
  7. SaE says something stupid and considering Berlusconi's past history it's kind of gross and he should delete it because of "discourse quality" or whatever.
  8. This is a generic but good meme, also removed
  9. Another title pic meme that gets removed yet the BoJo one can stay
  10. And of course the post that got SaE and Britmod to hate me when I called them out on it

So either you let the market subreddit decide what memes are good memes or you enforce the rules consistently across the subreddit. Also don't delete my comments because they call you out, it's childish and stupid. It's obvious that most of the mod team leans to the right side of the political spectrum which is fine but don't hold us left leaning users in contempt like some specific mods do.

I'm approaching this in good faith because I like /r/Neoliberal and I've learned a lot from it and it's changed a lot of my priors and part of that is from effort posts but a lot of that comes from memes that attract former Bernie supporters like me or from other ideologies. I don't want NL to go the route of /r/BadEconomics because I think we have a cool little community in NL and I enjoy the conversations that get tossed around in the DT and elsewhere in the subreddit. Also what are my mod notes so that I can see how much more mod bashing I can do before I make an alt get permabanned.
