Is the T-beam v1.2 any good?

I want to put up a reporter in my back yard I need wifi for that as there are no nodes in my area. Is see some t-beam v1.2 in stock,can I go with this or hold off for the suremes? The GPS accuracy is no big thing as it will be stationary. Thanks for the feedback.
