Hi all! I've been building a handful (7 now) self contained solar nodes that we have been experimenting with. I've been using a variety of boards, enclosures, 18650 configurations, solar panels, and some (3) using cheap battery banks.
The battery banks are probably the easiest to set up...no soldering, etc. However, I'm having trouble finding an inexpensive bank that both doesn't shut off at low amp usage AND has the ability to take a charge while powering a device. I've bought a handful on Amazon and ebay that claim to do both...but they lie.
Anybody found a solution? There has to be a 'dumb' bank that can do both.
