CL500 or not CL500?

Hi all,

I’m looking to buy a fast V8 for under £10,000. My reasons are simply that my cash is tied up in investments for a few years.

I’ve test drove and fallen in love with a 2002 black CL500. It has 141kmiles on the clock, full service history and the asking price is only £3999.

I’ve tried an Audi S4, BMW M3 but this is calling me.

Is there anything I should look out for considering the age and mileage? Any general advice? So far, all reviews suggest the CL500 is a car you should experience at least once.
