Hello, my W204 with 86k miles has been counting down to a B3 service. My dealer quoted $1,400, not by looking at the car but just off me telling him B3 and 86k miles. I was in for a headlight a few months ago and I confirmed with another service guy my B3 would be around $1,400 and he kind of shrugged and said sounds kind of high.

Long story short, I've never liked these service guys. They're all sarcastic and seem like they have a chip on their shoulder. I did ask the guy who said it sounded kind of high if scheduling my service with him helped his numbers and he's like absolutely!

Does $1,400 sound right? I had been saving up once the 90 day count started but life happened and I had to use the money for something more pressing. My console now says something like 5 days past due. I have some extra money coming in a couple weeks, so how far past the due date can you push it? What are the bare minimum services for a B3 with a car at this mileage? Thank you!
