Hi all! I’ve had my A180 for a couple of years now. And I don’t remember having this issue before. (Kinda)

Every time I turn on the air conditioner. There’s a very distinct whirring noise from the front of the engine. And it’s quite loud. It only happens when the AC is turned on. Last summer I had an issue with the AC where it wasn’t cooling but Mercedes fixed it quite quickly.

I’ve booked into Mercedes for next week for a diagnostic but wondering if anyone else have had this happened to them?
