I am looking for a business coach, someone who will be there when I have questions. I'm not exactly a "start up" more like a "re-open".
We closed our doors because I realized that I needed more computer skills, especially within management (but that's a personal skill?). Anyway, I am getting back to work, facing my own burnout with a therapist, and hiring a business coach.
Thing is the woman I've hired wants a business partner.
The more we talk about her needs, the more I get wrapped up in her vision. Yes! I say. I see what you are going for and I'd love to work with you; (however), can you teach me?
It's this second part of the response that I am noticing some resistance.
Not to mention, when I text her I don't get a prompt response. I've paid $400 for coaching and I've been promised 20 sessions, however I don't know if this is a schedule based on her design or if I get to create my own questions.
And since I've said yes to assisting her with her business, my coaching seems to have been lost in the transmission.
She is asking me for marketing details and sales transcripts, and I haven't been given a single training session.
My computer and management skills still need coaching... When she barks an order, I say yes, but I feel as if I am getting further away from my needs, and it's only been 3 days.
Any suggestions on how to redirect the focus on my mentoring?
