I’m talking to my teams today about mental health. It’s not a standard chat as I’m describing my own experiences, from symptoms to diagnoses, to treatment, and ongoing challenges and care. This is to help people see and feel that it’s not just acceptable but essential to have this ongoing discussion.
What are the things you’d like to tell a workplace audience, but can’t? For example I’m going to talk about everyday problems and stigma caused by work, and how we can make things better. A big thing for me is continuing a flexible hybrid working culture, not dragging people into the office for the hell of it.
What would you tell my teams?
