I think I know why I hate watching movies....

Post Body

So I went to see batman for 3 hours tonight. I'm sure it was a good movie but I thought it was "fine".

Upon the movie starting I realised I was in trouble and un happy. I wanted to do things and be distracted and busy. As I sit here I'm writing this post at 2.30am. I barely sleep and have to be up early. I'm watching the news.

If I was to watch a movie at home I would be txting or playing a video game or thinking about work.

Through batman all I could think about was my plans tomorrow, my to do list, the work on Monday and problems with women and various dates.

I think I don't know how to switch off or stop and that's why movies are unpleasant. I can't be "present" for them. It's a shame really.

Tldr; I can't be present in the moment when I'm not engaged and have a habit of being constantly busy and distracted.
