What are (if any) the long term effects/consequences of someone never experiencing romantic interest (crush to be more simple) from someone else?

So let’s say there’s a person who 30 years old. They never been in a relationship or even on a first date. The reason for it was because no one has had romantic interest for them. Not even enough to go on a date with them and see how it does. What would be the mental and emotional damage be that person as they continue on with their life? I know as humans, we have desires for us to be together with someone else but if someone never experiences that because nobody wants to be with them, what kinda of damage could happen to them?
